Censorship: When Truth Becomes a Casualty

Censorship is nothing new. And, although I cannot cite when censorship was first abused, one can be fairly certain that it has been practiced for centuries – if not millennia. No doubt that throughout history many kings, presidents and dictators would have met their premature demise if not for their exercise of censorship. Arguably, the use of censorship is one of the most effective weapons used by those who seek power and control.

Full Definition of CENSOR (Webster’s Online Dictionary) cen•sor noun \ˈsen(t)-sər\
: a person who examines books, movies, letters, etc., and removes things that are considered to be offensive, immoral, harmful to society, etc.
1 : a person who supervises conduct and morals: as
a : an official who examines materials (as publications or films) for objectionable matter
b : an official (as in time of war) who reads communications (as letters) and deletes material considered sensitive or harmful
2: one of two magistrates of early Rome acting as census takers, assessors, and inspectors of morals and conduct
3: a hypothetical psychic agency that represses unacceptable notions before they reach consciousness

As any reasonably intelligent person should be able to determine, the issue with the above definition of censorship is the following: Who determines what material is “objectionable” and what are the ulterior motives for “officials” making such a designation?

Most recently, the issue of censorship touched a friend of The Liberty Brothers Radio Show. Sean, founder of sgtreport.com and thelibertymill.com, had a video with over 75,000 views yanked by YouTube with an explanation that I would consider dubious, at best.

We can all be relatively sure that as more of the population begins to “wake-up,” that censorship will increase in kind; for besides just outright killing us, what other choice does TPTB have at their disposal? An informed, motivated and especially, armed population is this government mafia’s greatest fear. Let’s do all we can to keep them up at night.
