Even before our financial world melts and our economies fall, and even as our leaders risk nuclear war and radiation hell on earth from destroyed (Fukushima) and existing nuclear reactors, which leak and have no permanent way of storing nuclear poison, we are experiencing a meltdown of the natural world.  Pesticides are destroying the health and beauty of biosphere and we wonder why cancer and other diseases are spreading like plagues.

Certain groups of corporations with government support have deliberately created a toxic hell on our planet. It is a special kind of hell that gets chemically and radioactively more toxic each year with the damage and danger expanding to hurt, debilitate and even kill people in uncountable numbers. Heavy metals like mercury are also doing us in yet all concern is focused on reducing safe and healthy gases like CO2 instead of the mercury that comes out of all coal fired electrical plants.

What do grizzly bears, gray wolves, California condors, and coho salmon have in common? All are protected by theEndangered Species Act (ESA) and all are likely to be harmed by three commonly used pesticides, according to a new report from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). In fact, these three pesticides—chlorpyrifos, diazinon, and malathion—are likely to harm 97 percent of the plants and animals listed under the ESA.

Nevertheless, the industry manufacturing the three pesticides says there is nothing to worry about! Jay Vroom, president and CEO of CropLife America, the trade association representing agricultural chemical manufacturers, said in a statement: “These products have been safely used on millions of acres for decades, with no evidence that they have harmed endangered species. We will work with our companies to provide EPA the scientific research they need to make informed decisions when dealing with the complexities of the Endangered Species Act.” Meaning they intend to continue to poison to earth and the people and animals on it and make a fortune doing it.

What do we humans have in common with endangered species? We are being exposed to the same three commonly used pesticides. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has just released an analysis pinpointing the collective impact that these 3 pesticides have and it is not good news for us humans, who are living high on the food chain.

Although diazinon and malathion have been used on farms, around homes, and for other pest control since 1956, and chlorpyrifos since 1965, this is the first time the EPA has conducted such an evaluation in the four decades since the ESA was passed in 1973. So much for the integrity of the EPA, another branch of the trustless American government. The government has been in bed with big business since forever. The EPA has allowed more than 16,000 chemicals to be registered for use without proper scientific research to determine their effects on the world around us, and our own health.

“A key element of the report the EPA just released is that for the first time it looked at the effects of cumulative, indirect, and sub-lethal effects of pesticide exposure, using assessment methods the National Academy of Sciences recommended in 2013. Previously the EPA’s assessments of pesticide impacts “used lethal doses only,” explains Earthjustice managing attorney, Patti Goldman.

“For the first time in history, we finally have data showing just how catastrophically bad these pesticides are for endangered species—from birds and frogs to fish and plants. These dangerous pesticides have been used without proper analysis for decades, and now’s the time to take this new information and create common-sense measures to protect plants, animals and people from these chemicals,” wrote Lori Ann Burd, Environmental Health Director at the Center for Biological Diversity.

It is somewhat late, for the waves of toxicity are lapping up against our bodies getting us sicker and causing epidemics of cancer. One should take notice when reading about Zika and other viral threats that they never mention to real reason people are getting sick and dying. It is from massive poisoning and the doctors and dentists are in on it so we cannot expect help from them.

Chronic disease is the number one killer in the United States, accounting for about four out of five deaths in America each year yet most doctors have not the slightest idea of what is really causing all of these deaths. The medical establishment has not been able to solve or cure any of the chronic diseases facing humanity simply because they do not really want to know anything about the causes.

Medical officials go on and on about the flu and other viruses instead of addressing the fact that pharmaceutical medicine is one of the greatest sources of toxic exposure – and so is dentistry. Actually, this is a plan by design of the pharmaceutical manufacturers, meaning the pharmaceutical giants have manipulated the entire bunch of us – patients and doctors – to continue to look to their pharmaceutical drugs, as the end all, be all for treating (managing) chronic diseases. Their sole intent is to keep us on their drugs, not to find cures, and it is of little consequence to them that these drugs cause harm and suffering.

Pesticide Hell

These three pesticides belong to the class of chemicals known as organophosphates, which kill insects by disrupting their brains and nervous systems. They have similar effects on other animals, including humans, interfering with an enzyme that is essential to the nervous system’s ability to carry signals.

Chlorpyrifos has been shown in numerous studies to adversely affect children’s neurological development and behavior, including through prenatal exposure. Diazinon can persist for weeks or months in the environment, seep into groundwater, and contaminate drinking water. Malathion tends to break down faster but has been found in both streams and well water. Last year, the World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancerdetermined that diazinon and malathion are probable human carcinogens—the same classification the agency gaveglyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup, the nation’s most widely used herbicide.

The heaviest concentration of these chemicals, is—not surprisingly—in California’s Central Valley and other agriculture-heavy parts of the country, including the Midwest, Florida, and Washington state. However, as the EPA assessment indicates, the reach of their impacts is extensive.

How extensive is the poisoning? According to the Physicians for Social Responsibility (PSR) about 100 million Americans, more than one-third of the population, suffer from some form of chronic disease like asthma, diabetes, cancer, heart and kidney disease or arthritis. Cancer is the second leading cause of death, exceeded only by heart disease. Among children ages 1 to 14, cancer is now the leading cause of death by disease.[1] At current rates, invasive cancer will be diagnosed in half of all men and in one in three women in their lifetime. “Whether it is cancer or autism that is affecting our families and showing up in our examination rooms, the growing rates of chronic disease compel us to search for clues and answers to determine the true causes of these increasingly prevalent illnesses,” says the PSR.

Human destiny is on a collision course with pesticides. Pesticides, herbicides and fungicides are showing up in everyone’s blood affecting people’s and children’s brains. Researchers at the University of California Berkeley tested pregnant women for evidence that organophosphate pesticides had actually been absorbed by their bodies, and then followed their children as they grew. Women with more chemical traces of the pesticides in their urine while pregnant had children more likely to have symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD, at age 5, the researchers found.

Conclusion

The word poison was first recorded in Middle English in a work composed around the year 1200. A poison is any substance that when introduced into or absorbed by a living organism, destroys life or injures health. Poison is defined as any substance capable of producing a morbid, noxious or deadly effect. A poison is a material that inhibits other substances, especially enzymes, and the vital biochemical processes they are involved in. Enzymes are crucial because every chemical change that takes place to repair tissue or to assimilate food involves the activity of enzymes. Without enzyme activity there is no biological activity, no life.

Why was poisoning such a popular way of offing one’s adversaries? Because the implementation could be very easy, and the action was often difficult to detect – a subtly poisoned drink was generally much harder to trace to its source than a crossbow bolt in the back. Nothing has changed in modern times with the implementation even easier and the action, until most recently, equally difficult to detect and trace back to the source. Most poisoning today are not seen as deliberate or done on purpose. In fact, sometimes it is done with the best intentions to cure someone of disease.

Toxic effects of chemical agents are often not well understood or appreciated by doctors and even less so by the public. Medicine has struggled to understand the toxicities of individual chemicals yet is feeble when it comes to understanding the impacts of exposure to mixtures of chemicals. It is known, for instance, that aluminum and lead increase the toxicities of mercury by a 100 fold yet that does not stop doctors from mixing aluminum with mercury in children’s vaccines.

In today’s medical reality, when a doctor gives you any particular medication, that medicine is going to collide head on with a preexistent toxic soup in your blood stream. Everyone’s blood is polluted with heavy metals, pesticides, and many chemicals we would not believe are finding their way there. Newborns begin their existence under increasingly toxic blood streams with mercury being one of the principle threats.

Personal Note: Ending on a positive note is not easy when it comes to this subject. However, it has been my work of the last decade to come up with answers that help people avoid pharmaceuticals, implementing natural medicines in their place. One of the last items on my protocol list (almost of which help detoxify and strengthen the body) that I would like to mention is humble clay, which is everyone’s most precious helper in dealing with toxicity when consumed orally as well as transdermally. I wrote an essay many years ago called ‘The Science of the Pure,’ which talked about the power of such pure substances to attract impurities to them as a sponge attracts and holds water.

In other good toxic news to curb the issue of plastic pollution, the city of San Francisco has just done something monumental: it has become the first in America city to ban the sale of plastic water bottles. Plastic pollution is one of the greatest burdens to the environment. Unbelievably, enough plastic is discarded every year to circle the globe four times.
