PARTIAL VICTORY? – NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!
The massive response from people all over the world in opposition to the amendments to the International Health Regulations, along with legal actions in the UK (and a whole lot of prayer) seems to have resulted in 12 of the 13 amendments to the International Health Regulations being REMOVED FROM CONSIDERATION.
I wonder why?
The last remaining amendment that may be considered by the 75th World Health Assembly is below…
This matters because it has a direct impact on Article 61.

WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED?
The process is absolutely NOT transparent.

There are A LOT of documents located at the above webpage, but (as of this time) nothing has been added since May 4-6, 2022. They have published info about the first 9 meetings of the working group. I would imagine that the information from their 10th meeting will be very interesting.

The WGPR was given the task of “shepherding” the amendments through a process that was to prepare them for presentation to the World Health Assembly.
Zac Cox from the United Kingdom reported to me that he filed a request for Judicial Review on Tuesday May 17, 2022 which was rejected. Zac then filed an appeal on Friday May 20, 2022. At the end of the work day on Friday, he received a response from the Government Legal Department of the Secretary of State for Health which claimed that Zac’s appeal was without merit because 12 of the 13 proposed amendments had been removed from consideration because the working group was “unable to reach a consensus.”
Here is my best estimate of what may have happened:
Maybe some of the members of the WGPR actually read the amendments, comprehended them and had the same reaction that I did.
Maybe Brazil, some African nations or other “stakeholders” read the amendments and realized what the hell was going on.
A good percentage of the members of the WGPR opposed the amendments.
Maybe, just maybe, “People Power” reared its powerful head, shined a very powerful light on the amendments, which were expected to be considered in darkness.
THE 75TH WORLD HEALTH ASSEMBLY IS CURRENTLY UNDER WAY, FROM MAY 22-28, 2022.
