HOW DID WE ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN? - TBP

It’s true. 97% of the population has no clue what is happening and really don’t care. They have their iPhones, Apple Watches (90% of females wearing the exact same watch in order to be stylish and distinctive), Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, six credit cards, a seven year auto loan on a $50,000 SUV, and jobs that can be replaced by robots and AI.

I’ve fancied myself as a modern day Sam Adams or Paul Revere, warning as many as I can about the impending descent into tyranny, decay and default. I’ve been irate and tireless for fifteen years. But very few have listened, to the point where I no longer care. Maybe I’m wrong and we muddle through for decades, with no war and no financial collapse. I doubt it, but I’ve been wrong about the timing for over a decade.

I’ll continue to rage against the machine, but I doubt the 3% who pulled off a successful American Revolution in the 1780s, can generate a similar outcome today. I’m just going to try enjoy the peaceful moments like watching the sun rise over the Atlantic Ocean from my deck at 6:00 am this morning with a hot cup of coffee. Enjoy your Sunday.
