This convoy phenomenon is truly impressive.
And Justin Trudeau has no good way out.
If he surrenders, that’s bad for him.
And only the most vicious kind of force can dislodge the truckers, so that can’t work.
It’s glorious to watch.
Meanwhile: Alberta just announced that its vaccine passport system is ending at midnight tonight, with other restrictions to follow.
Saskatchewan is dropping its mask mandate at the end of the month and its vaccine passport system on Monday, with the premier saying that the system has created “two classes of citizens.”
“The benefits of this policy no longer outweigh the costs,” said Scott Moe, who said that people should be allowed to decide for themselves whether or not they get the shots. “The government is going to respect that right.”
Is this all a coincidence? I doubt it.
