A Day of Reckoning Looms – An American Revolution 2.0

by D.W. Wilber, America Outloud:

On April 19, 1775, the American colonists had had enough. In Lexington, Massachusetts, and shortly thereafter in the village of Concord, they banded together and stood up against the invading British Redcoats, and the first blood on both sides was shed. Just over a year later, on July 4, 1776, we Americans officially declared independence from England, and the American Revolution was underway in earnest.

Our war for independence from England lasted roughly eight years, ending roughly on September 3, 1783. Approximately six thousand eight hundred American patriots died in battle, facing the more professional and experienced army of King George III in engagements throughout the original thirteen colonies of what would eventually become the United States of America. Another seventeen thousand American Patriots died as a result of illness, disease, and malnutrition, many during the harsh winter encampment of 1777-78 at Valley Forge.

The main causes of the American War for Independence included the Stamp Act of 1765 that was levied in the American colonies by the British; the Boston Massacre, which occurred when colonists were protesting on the streets of Boston, and British troops opened fire, killing five of the protesters; the Boston Tea Party which was an act of defiance against the Stamp Act and the larger British rule; the so-called ‘Intolerable Acts’ which included the forced closure of the Port of Boston and an order of compensation to the East India Company for damaged property as a result of the Boston Tea Party. In addition, town meetings were now also banned and the authority of the royal governor was increased.

On 26 October 1775, King George III stood in front of his Parliament and declared the American colonies to be in a state of rebellion. As a result, the use of force was authorized against the colonists. The King’s speech was clear; a war against his own subjects was about to begin.

Nearly two hundred fifty years later, we find ourselves in similar circumstances. Ruled over by politicians who care nothing about us, who spend their time in office filling their own pockets and that of their families. Much of it gained through sweetheart deals only they have access to. It is truly “taxation without representation.”

And on January 6th, 2021, we even experienced our own ‘massacre’ when an unarmed military veteran named Ashli Babbitt, who, like millions of other Americans, was outraged over what they viewed as a compromised election, was executed protesting inside the U.S. Capitol.

Sadly we accept all of this. We are so used to politicians mouthing promises to us during campaign season, only to forget we even exist once the election is over. We know all about their conniving, scheming, and backroom deals, and we allow them to carry on without any consequences. They know it; in fact they depend upon it. And they take whatever steps are necessary to protect their own personal interests over the American people.

If you speak out against them, you wake up one day to find IRS agents auditing your taxes. If you encourage people to protest and express their displeasure at what has been going on, you find yourself hearing a knock on your door and a gang of FBI agents outside with an arrest warrant. They will do whatever it takes to protect themselves, and to keep Americans at bay.

One thing they depend upon is that we, the great unwashed, simply can’t get our act together. The left can make a phone call and, in an hour, have a hundred screeching morons tearing things up outside of a government building. And why not, most of them don’t have a job anyway. Whereas the rest of us are busy working and taking care of our families, and trying to pay our bills with rapidly diminishing buying power as a result of rising inflation. We simply can’t drop things and rush off to a riot on a moments’ notice. They know that, and they use it against us.

Why are they harping so much about January 6th, 2021, and calling it an “insurrection” when it was noting of the sort? This is nothing more than a scare tactic, psychological warfare being used against the American people. It’s how they intend to keep us all in line. And under their control. Americans are being subtly threatened to sit down and shut up, otherwise you’re going to find yourself in big trouble.

But the time is rapidly approaching when Americans will no longer be cowed into submission and inaction. November 8th will be a day of reckoning.

As Captain John Parker said in Lexington, Massachusetts, on April 19, 1775. “If they mean to have a war, let it begin here.” Americans once again will take the first step in a new revolution, and vote to take back our country and hold the political class accountable.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
