Vladimir Putin won’t play nice
The Russian President challenged Biden to a live debate following the comments he made earlier this week. Our “lovely” President agreed that Putin is a “killer.”
“I’ve just thought of this now,” Putin told Russian state TV. “I want to propose to President Biden to continue our discussion, but on the condition that we do it basically live, as it’s called. Without any delays and directly in an open, direct discussion. It seems to me that would be interesting for the people of Russia and for the people of the United States.”
Biden talked to ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos and agreed with the claim that Putin is a “killer.” He said, “Yes, I do.”
A Russian embassy spokesperson said that Moscow will withdraw the ambassador to the US without revealing the reason for the recall.
Putin is ready to debate with Biden on Friday. Is Biden ready for this?
“I don’t want to put this off for long. I want to go the taiga this weekend to relax a little,” Putin told reporters. “So we could do it tomorrow or Monday. We are ready at any time convenient for the American side.”
On Thursday, Putin responded to Biden’s comments and said, “I remember in my childhood, when we argued in the courtyard with each other we used to say: it takes one to know one.” He added, “I wish you health. I say that without any irony or joke.”
Biden’s White House press secretary said that this discussion won’t happen because Biden travels to Georgia on Friday. Psaki also said that the President doesn’t regret making the comment.
“I’ll have to get back to you if that is something we’re entertaining. I would say that the president already had a conversation with President Putin,” she told reporters. “The president, of course, will be in Georgia tomorrow and quite busy,” Psaki added.
The Russian ambassador to the US, Anatoly Antonov, leaves Saturday to “discuss ways to rectify Russia-U.S. ties that are in crisis.”

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
