What The Lockdowners Really Think About You

Well, the mask slipped (so to speak) a bit over the weekend.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) published — then clumsily retracted — a Tweet claiming that lockdowns were “quietly improving cities around the world.”

It even included a one-minute video.

What did we learn in this video?

You’ll never guess: lockdowns made cities a lot quieter. Gee, you don’t say!

And that silence is music to the ears of the mankind-hating lizard people who evidently run the WEF.

So we learned about how much less ambient noise there was during the lockdowns. This was great, we were told, because it allowed scientists to detect earthquakes somewhat more accurately.

These are not normal people.

Also, pollution came down a little bit.

But now things are returning to normal. And we’d better watch ourselves because…climate change.

The video ended by asking, “How quiet was your local area?”

The lizard people were evidently expecting us to say, “You know, doggone it, things sure were quiet around here! It was wonderful not hearing children playing, or live music coming from clubs and restaurants, or the hustle and bustle of a living city! How refreshing it was to experience a city with all the life and heart sucked out of it!”

Since that’s not the way normal people look at the situation, what the WEF got instead was a reaction so hostile that they had to withdraw the Tweet.

But very reluctantly.

They loathe us rubes.

“We’re deleting this tweet,” they wrote. “Lockdowns aren’t ‘quietly improving cities’ around the world. But they are an important part of the public health response to COVID-19.”

But even this retreat is all wrong.

@AJKayWriter, who’s been excellent on the virus, responded like this:

If by “important”, you mean:

*authoritarian
*grossly disproportionate
*deadly
*anti-public health
*power abusive
*lucrative
*poverty-inducing…
then you nailed it.

As it turns out, I have a brand new free eBook, out today, that takes on this very question: did the ruin-your-life strategy really wind up doing any good?

It’s called COVID Charts CNN Forgot:

Click on the link below to get it for yourself.

I guarantee your friends have never seen these charts.

And incidentally, if you have friends who, like you, don’t believe that the “public health” establishment has done us any good, please forward the link below to them. It will get them the free eBook and get them started receiving the ol’ Woods emails that have been keeping you sane.

Enjoy:

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
