Ron Paul: You can’t create wealth out of a printing press

“In the marketplace they [politicians] don’t want to have a correction because politically it’s not acceptable to actually be frugal or spend less or save money and work harder. That’s not acceptable these days. Everybody believes you can create wealth out of a printing press, and in some ways we in this country have been able to get away with this because we have been very wealthy, we’re very powerful militarily, and we’ve had the reserve currency of the world. But I think it’s all deception and the longer it goes on, the greater the danger.
